Welp, we’ve done it again! The TSC Price Fetcher and Item Database got a face lift today. Before I get into that however, I must share some very heart breaking news.
Without any warning, Silk Road Trading Co has been run out of Evermore!

For seventy glorious weeks, Zunlog has worked day in and day out to ensure Silk Road’s wares were sold with dignity. It seems someone else came along and offered him more money and he took the job. I can’t imagine it’s easy being the only Orc in the marketplace of Evermore, however one would think after so much time he’d show a little loyalty to his former employer. I don’t blame him, we’re all out here to make money, though I am very… very disappointed.
Moving on…
After months of deliberation and reviewing feedback from users, I decided to change up the way sales data is presented when you look up an item. You’ll see most of the same data you saw before, but a couple of things have been removed and I added in something new! Here’s what you’ll see and what it means:
- Item Name – The item name, same as it’s always been.
- Category – This used to be displayed as “Type” at the end/bottom, but we moved it to the front/top simply because it looks better that way.
- *NEW* Common Range – The Lower Range and Common Price were removed and replaced with Common Range, which shows two figures instead of one. If you take each sale recorded and put them all in a straight row, then chopped off the edges, this is what you’d be left with. It tells you 90% of all sales fall between these two numbers. Why does this matter? It removes undercut and over priced sales from the equation.
- Average Price – This has not changed and still displays the average of all prices for that item.
- Minimum Price – The lowest price the item was sold for.
- Median Price – The price that falls smack dab in the middle.
- Maximum Price – The highest price the item was sold for.
- Average Stack Price – This is the Average Price multiplied by the Common Stack Size.
- Common Stack Size – The most common number of items included in a single sale (e.g. 200 Rubedite Ore or 8 Tempering Alloy)
- Sales Recorded – The total number of sales currently in the database for that item.
- Oldest Record – The oldest date of all sale records in the database for that item;
- “old” data is purged as new data comes in;
- Materials are purged every week unless no new data was received;
- All other sales records are kept for 2 weeks, unless no new data is received.
If you have any questions regarding the purge process or have any other questions regarding the data provided, please reach out to me. I am always happy to help.
That’s all I have for now. As always, happy trading and don’t forget to become a sponsor 😉 – SavageAFmk
