Hey y’all! As some of you already know, I do love me some ESO auctions! I first became interested in them when I started getting serious about the sales database. See, the downfall of doing what I do is that I could (and have) easily be accused of market manipulation. To avoid that, I simply don’t sell much in traders. Sure, I’ll throw in common things like furnishing plans, intricate items, the occasional motif, items that don’t ever fluctuate in value because they are the basic of the basic stuff. Mats and such though, I keep those out of the trader market. However, that put me in an awkward position: How am I going to make money?

At that time, I was a member of the guild Cramps (f.k.a. The Minstrel Cramps) and they had been running auctions for quite some time. Guild members would donate mats, they would be auctioned off, then the member got a paycheck from the proceeds. Sounded good to me! I carried on doing this until others in my own guild wanted a taste of the action. We adopted a similar system and now we participates in at least one a month. Next month we’ll be having our very first solo auction and needless to say, I’m very nervous about it!

I digress. Since auctions are coordinated and promoted from different groups, guilds, players, etc., I thought it would be a good idea to create a single location where the community can view all upcoming auction info. I’m pleased to officially announce the launch of the TSC Auctions Calendar

The calendar will tell you everything you need to know about upcoming auctions, including what guilds are participating, who’s hosting it, where it will be held, and flyers showing all the items being auctioned off! The list is a little short right now but it will be updated any time I receive new details.

If your guild is having a public auction, it’s best to send me the information via Band or Discord, especially if you have a flyer to be posted. And who knows, I may just show up and throw out a bid or two!

As always, happy trading! – SavageAFmk
